Dr. Thomas LeBlanc was inaugurated as The George Washington University’s 17th president on Monday, November 13th. In addition to the inauguration itself, the university hosted a number of festive events from Sunday the 12th to Tuesday the 14th. The Presidential Fellows were excited to serve as volunteers at many of these events, helping make them a success. The first event the fellows served at was the Supreme Court dinner, a dinner ceremony held for President LeBlanc, his family, close friends, and the Board of Trustees at the Supreme Court building.

Fellows also volunteered at the inauguration ceremony itself and the celebration afterwards at the Science and Engineering building. At all the events, the fellows helped welcome and manage high-profile guests and contributed to making the events inviting for all, from life-long Colonials to first-time visitors.
