Presidential Fellowship alumni continue to demonstrate their commitment to the program and the broader GW community by leading professional development seminars for current fellows and graduate students across the University.
Chelsea Lenowska led the first webinar for Spring 2026, titled "You Are More Than Your Job: Career Pivots and Balance in High-Stress Careers." Chelsea shared her personal experience navigating a high-stress career with the fellows and gave actionable advice for protecting oneself against burnout and leading a values-led life.
Chelsea Lenowska has spent the last decade navigating between multiple high-stress public service roles. A GWU Presidential Fellowship Alum, she previously worked as a Special Agent with the FBI and now serves as the Acting Deputy Inspector General at the Naval Postgraduate School in beautiful Monterey, California. Chelsea's career, or the giving up of one, taught her important lessons about ambition, burnout, and prioritizing balance in her life. She is excited to share these lessons with early-career professionals as they build their own careers that are both impactful and sustainable.
