Current Presidential Fellows
Presidential Fellows are outstanding George Washington University graduates who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and engagement within the university community. Through the Presidential Fellowship, these students continue their academic journey by pursuing a master's or doctoral degree at GW while contributing to the advancement of the university through meaningful work in a campus office for 20 hours per week. The Presidential Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for students to further their education, develop professionally, and make lasting contributions to GWU.
Class of 2027
Grace Allread
Grace will enter her second year as a Presidential Fellow while pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Psychology. During her first year, she had a professional placement in the Office of the Vice Provost for Research. In her role within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, she helped plan and manage university-wide research events, including the InnovationFest. She also contributed to research oversight and administration responsibilities.
Preeti Kulkarni
Preeti graduated from GWU with a BA in International Affairs. She will serve as a Presidential Fellow starting in Fall 2027, while pursuing a Master's in Security Policy Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs.
Urja Mehta
Urja graduated from GWU with a BS in Public Health. She will serve as a Presidential Fellow starting in Fall 2027, while pursuing a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the Milken Institute School of Public Health.
Zoë Singleton
Zoë graduated from GWU with a BA in American Studies. She will serve as a Presidential Fellow starting in Fall 2027, while pursuing a Master's in Political Management from the College of Professional Studies.
