Presidential Fellowship alumni continue to demonstrate their commitment to the program and the broader GW community by leading professional development seminars for current fellows and graduate students across the University.
This past week, the fellows had the privilege to meet with PAF Alumna Rachel Yakobashvili, who talked about her current job at Friendship Place. The organization's mission is to find solutions to homelessness, and Rachel discussed the specifics of her role as well as the overarching issue of homelessness. The fellows gained multiple insights about securing a job after graduation and deepened their understanding of homelessness and interventions for it.
