Jack is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is passionate about community service, research, and environmental advocacy. As an undergraduate, Jack was a student leader at the Nashman Center and led a project with Engineers Without Borders in Uganda. He also spent two years with DC Water, where he worked on developing innovative strategies to meet effluent total inorganic nitrogen limits.
Currently, Jack is placed in both the Office of the President and the Office of Faculty Affairs at George Washington University. His roles include helping to launch the "GW Humanitarian Internship Pilot Program," a new initiative that connects students with humanitarian organizations for meaningful internship experiences. He is also assisting with the implementation of "Elements," a faculty information system designed to enhance research collaboration across disciplines. Additionally, Jack is applying his project management expertise to support the Faculty Honors nomination and ceremony processes.

Throughout his placements, Jack has played a vital role in a wide variety of projects, including the below:
- Humanitarian Internship Program (HIPP): Led the development and execution of the program, including partnership-building, student placements, and promotional strategies. Coordinated the selection of 20 student participants and managed program logistics.
- Strategic Framework Leadership: Managed community engagement for the university’s strategic planning, supported the Steering Committee, and contributed to proposals for the Board of Trustees.
- Faculty Engagement: Planned the Faculty Honors Ceremony, handled advertising, and coordinated logistics. Supported the implementation of the university’s new faculty reporting system.
- Government & Community Relations: Drafted correspondence for elected officials, coordinated major events, and assisted in planning an Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill for GW’s Student Government Association (SGA).
- Office of the President: Conducted institutional research, drafted honorary degree nominations, and supported executive communications.
