Mark Your Calendars: PAF Alumni Day of Service!

February 24, 2016

The 2nd Annual PAF Alumni Day of Service will be Saturday, April 2 from 10am-12pm! The mobile service activities (TBD) will be held in Marvin Center Room 526 within Colonial Crossroads. All PAFs and PAF alumni, PAFamily, and PAFriends are welcome and encouraged to attend.

There will be a few different mobile service projects to work on including a project to benefit ArtReachDC, a year-round museum outreach program, designed to empower D.C. youth and families to explore and trust their own creativity within the context of art making and art history.

Last year’s inaugural PAF Alumni Day of Service was a great success. Those who participated constructed paracord survival bracelets to be sent to active duty service members through Operation Gratitude and created cards for children with severe illnesses at local hospitals. The event was not only an opportunity for the PAF community to give back, but also provided a new way for PAFs, alumni, family, and friends to engage with one another and build new relationships.

Please RSVP as soon as possible to [email protected] and include any guests. We look forward to seeing you then!
