Current fellows Grace Allread, Nina Balandina, Jack Hatcher, and Markella Lanara hosted their first social event for Spring 2026. The event titled "Super Bowl Warm-Up: Virtual Bad Bunny Night" was tailored mostly towards GW's online students, aiming to increase their connection with GW and each other. The event brought together students from different schools, including both online and in-person programs, for an evening filled with singing and chatting.
This was the fifth event in the fellows’ GW Graduate Experience & Research Network Initiative, the proposal that earned them $11,500 earlier last year to improve the graduate experience and sense of belonging among graduate students at GW.
