This weekend, some of us were fortunate to have the opportunity to volunteer at GW's Senior Prom. The event, which is hosted by the Office of Government and Community Relations (Jess's placement), is an opportunity for GW students to engage with the elderly population of the District of Columbia, and especially with our neighbors.
The event featured dinner, dancing, and even an opportunity for seniors to take photos to remember the night by. A ton of people came, and it was a great opportunity to meet some of our neighbors. Oh, and we took a picture too!
