Grace is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Psychology. As an undergraduate student-athlete, she volunteered with Grassroots Health, advancing health equity in DC through serving as a health educator and mentor for youth in middle schools. Currently, she volunteers as a Research Assistant in Dr. Goodman’s Emotion and Resilience Lab. In the future, she is interested in designing and implementing community health interventions through participatory research, using a context-based approach to promote belonging, connection, and social justice.
Grace's professional placement is within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research at George Washington University. As a Presidential Fellow, Grace hopes to increase community connectedness and belonging among faculty, staff, and students. In her role within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, Grace helps plan and manage university-wide research events, including the InnovationFest. She also contributes to research oversight and administration responsibilities. Working at the Office of the Vice Provost for Research expands Grace’s researcher perspective by allowing her to understand the research process from an administrative lens!

Some of Grace's interests include community health interventions aimed at improving well-being, inclusivity, and resilience within the GWU community.
Grace is placed in the Office of Vice Provost for Research (OVPR).
Throughout her placement, Grace has played a vital role in a wide variety of projects, including the following:
- Assists in planning and managing university-wide research events, including the InnovationFest.
- Streamlines the Research Proposal process to increase simplicity and efficiency.
