PAF Alumni on the City View Rooftop during Alumni Weekend

On September 20, 2014, the PAF program kicked off its 25th Anniversary celebration with more than 60 members of the PAFamily attending a reception during Alumni Weekend. PAF alumni from a span of 25 years of cohorts returned to the university to celebrate this milestone in the 1957 E Street City View Room, exchanging stories and making new connections.  PAF Program Administrative Advisor Dr. Peter Konwerski began the program by reiterating the first of three 25th Anniversary themes, highlighting the PAF program and the impact of both current and alumni fellows. Next, current and alumni fellows highlighted the three themes for our celebration this year: Celebrating our Community, Living our Legacy, and Focusing on our Future. Our very first PAF, John Morris, CCAS BA ’90, GWSB MPA ’92 spoke about the impact of the program has had on GW, the rich history in the last 25 years and living our legacy today. Gina Fernandes, ESIA BA’08, GSEHD MA ’10 and Khadija Lalani, ESIA BA’14, CCAS MPA ’16 emphasized the way the PAF program presently brings fellows, friends, and family together. Joe Bondi, CCAS BA ’01, GSPM MA ‘03) and Kelly Bartz, ESIA BA ’14, CCAS MPA ‘16 focused on the future of the PAF program by empowering current and new fellows.  PAF Program Director Robert Snyder concluded the program by announcing that, in celebration of the program’s 25th anniversary, our goal is to have at least 57 alumni (50%) participate in PAF and GW activities this year. We hope you can help us achieve our goal! Be sure to look for more information about upcoming PAF events.
