On Saturday, March 28, PAF Alumni returned to the Foggy Bottom Campus to participate in the inaugural PAF Alumni Day of Service, coordinated by the PAF Service Committee. Current PAFs, including the two members of the newly selected 2015-2017 cohort, served along side PAF alumni, PAFriends, and members of the PAF Advising Team to complete two service projects. Those in attendance constructed paracord survival bracelets to be sent to active duty service members through Operation Gratitude and created cards for children with severe illnesses at local hospitals.
In the spirit of the 25th anniversary of the PAF program, we wish to continue to celebrate our unique community, and form strong bonds with our distinguished alumni. At the beginning of the school year, the current PAFs established a goal to establish the PAF Alumni Day of Service to combine the program’s commitment to service with that of its overarching goal of maintaining relationships with graduates of the program.
