Reception at the F Street House

Everyone was very excited to attend the reception hosted by President and Mrs. LeBlanc at the F Street House to conclude our Spring Training this year. The Fellowship is very thankful for President Thomas LeBlanc and Anne LeBlanc’s generous invitation. We are equally thankful for the amazing F Street House staff that allowed the reception to run so seamlessly.

The reception was a wonderful display of the president’s esteem for and belief in the program. The current Fellows were so pleased to be able to network and reconnect with alumni and members of the GW leadership, some of whom participated in the Spring Training panel earlier in the day. However, perhaps the most memorable activity of the evening was the “straw poll” facilitated by President LeBlanc as part of his remarks to change the name of the Fellowship. The current and alumni Fellows in attendance overwhelmingly voted to change the program name from the Presidential Administrative Fellowship to the Presidential Fellowship to better reflect the nature of the fellows’ work and deepen the connection with the President. The Advising Team and the Communications Committee are currently working to organize the debut of the new logo featuring the new name.
