Thank you to all the alumni who joined us for the 2016 PAF Alumni Day of Service on Saturday, April 2, co-sponsored by the GW Alumni Association!
As part of the Day of Service, the PAFamily painted fish screen prints to be hung at the Anacostia River Festival. The 2016 Anacostia River Festival draws awareness to environmental justice and celebrates “connecting people to parks” in recognition of the National Park Service’s 2016 Centennial celebration. Thank you to our alumni, current and incoming PAFs, PAFriends, and members of the PAF Advising Team for volunteering your time to support our day of service. As a result of your support, the bikers at the Anacostia River Festival had an eclectic array of painted fish flying from their bikes to raise awareness around environmental justice. Over 200 fish were painted by various organizations and entities supporting the cause, and the Presidential Administrative Fellowship program was proud to be a part of it.
