Colonial Inauguration continues to be a true #onlyatgw tradition in which many current and alumni PAFs have participated while students. It was wonderful to have a diverse and wonderful group of alumni PAFs – and current PAFs – on hand to interact with the Class of 2018 as they had their first formal interaction with the GW community.

I am writing from Manila as I work with UNICEF to support the Child Protection efforts of the humanitarian response to Super Typhoon Haiyan. With winds as strong as 235 mph, this typhoon was the strongest recorded tropical storm ever to hit land (on November 8th, 2013).
